Anita “Wraithline” Sokolova is a Russian reconnaissance sniper and former intelligence asset, trained to observe, assess, and eliminate with clinical precision. Quiet, disciplined, analytical, and emotionally guarded, she once believed obedience made her effective. Years behind a scope taught her otherwise. After discovering how often her handlers manipulated the truth, Anita began questioning orders and ultimately killed a target she was ordered to silence, knowing she would be captured.

GOAL & MOTIVE

She wants to expose the GRU handlers who manipulated intelligence, falsified mission narratives, and used her to eliminate people under manufactured pretenses. However, revenge isn't her primary motive. Anita wants proof, accountability, and the truth about the operations she participated in, even if that truth implicates her. Her deepest motivation is to discover who she is without orders. She wants to reconnect with her estranged family, particularly her mother and brother, while ensuring they aren't used as leverage against her. She remains a reconnaissance specialist at heart, gathering evidence and observing patterns before acting. Her personal objective: dismantle the network that controlled her, protect the people it might target next, and build a life where her choices belong to her.

HISTORY & EVENTS

Anastasia “Anita” Sokolova was recruited into a GRU talent program and trained in long-range reconnaissance, surveillance, and counter-operator analysis. Under the callsign Wraithline, she became a patient, highly disciplined sniper known for studying targets before engaging. Years of classified deployments taught her to trust evidence over assumptions, gradually exposing contradictions between her observations and her handlers’ reports. When ordered to eliminate a target before they could reveal classified information, she obeyed, but the mission confirmed her growing suspicions. Captured by Americans after the shot, Anita now faces the consequences of her actions while seeking the truth about the organization that shaped her.
