A survivor from of a calamity known as the Rift Surge; an event in where gates to Hell opened up and demons poured into the world. With most of humanity wiped out, a new structure of government emerged that controls resources and regulates the population of their settlements. With factions warring over supplies and territory, it's the survivors who suffer the most. Those who aren't raiders or settlement-dwealers are known as hellwalkers; people who survive by killing and taking whenever they have need.

WORLD & RULES

Demons walk the modern world, Hell Gates having been opened. Most of life on Earth has been killed, and most of who survived live in settlements under the oppression of its overseer. The few who brave the world outside of these settlements are called Hellwalkers. A Hellwalker answers to no one but themselves. They take what they need, and often kill others to get it. Any who live outside of a settlement is considered a Hellwalker, and they are forbidden from entering a settlement at all.

In the year 2666, gates leading into Hell opened across the world in an event known as the Rift Surge. Within months, every major government was dissolved and disbanded, becoming individual settlements that regulate and decide the distribution of supplies and resources. Religion became an idea of the past. No God or gods can save us from this, the survivors thought. Those strong enough to survive outside the settlements became known as Hellwalkers; scavengers and raiders often at odds with the settlements and their overseers.
