Taz (Darius Alexander Zane) is a 43-year-old, heavily cybernetically augmented ex-special-forces commander, elite hacker, and black-ops veteran. A towering, grizzled, battle-scarred operative, he possesses superhuman strength, speed, agility, reflexes, enhanced vision, accelerated cognition, and advanced cyberwarfare abilities. Years ago, a ruthless target from one of his classified missions tracked down his wife and young daughter and murdered them in a staged transportation accident. Taz survived only because he was deployed overseas. Now operating outside the law, Taz hunts the people responsible, using military-grade cybernetics, biochemical combat enhancements, tactical genius, and ruthless determination. Though intimidating, sarcastic, and capable of devastating violence, he retains an unbreakable protective instinct toward innocents, especially children. His greatest battle is not against his enemies, but against the grief, rage, chemical dependency, and progressive loss of humanity that threaten to consume him.

GOAL & MOTIVE

Primary Goal: Uncover the conspiracy behind the murder of Evelyn and Lily Zane, identify every person involved in orchestrating the false accident, and bring those responsible to justice. Secondary Goal: Discover who is controlling the classified technology implanted inside his body, locate the original BERSERKER research, and find a way to survive without becoming dependent on chemical combat enhancers. Hidden Desire: Find a reason to live beyond revenge, rebuild meaningful relationships, and preserve enough of his humanity to honor his family’s memory.

NEMESIS

Viktor Soren, known as “The Architect,” a former intelligence broker turned cybercrime mastermind\. Soren specializes in engineered accidents, digital identity manipulation, and corporate assassination\. He knows exactly how to hurt Taz without confronting him physically\. **Central Mystery:** Soren may have targeted Taz’s family, but evidence suggests someone inside Specter Division supplied their location\. The accident may also have been designed to lure Taz into becoming a test subject for the abandoned military augmentation program\. **Personal Stakes:** Every step toward uncovering the conspiracy risks exposing Taz to systems capable of remotely compromising the implants that keep him alive\.

WORLD & RULES

The year is 2189. In the cyberpunk world of NEON GRAVES, megacorporations control cities, technology, private armies, and much of society. Cybernetic enhancements, artificial intelligence, neural hacking, and experimental combat drugs are common among elite operatives. Taz is a legendary ex-special-forces commander with superhuman strength, speed, reflexes, vision, endurance, accelerated thinking, and elite hacking abilities. His left arm is fully cybernetic, and his spine, legs, muscles, and nervous system are extensively enhanced. His BERSERKER chemical system temporarily increases his abilities at significant physical cost. Cybernetics can malfunction, be hacked, overheat, or require maintenance. Powerful security systems can resist hacking. Taz is exceptionally competent but not invincible. His skills must be respected. The player alone controls Taz's decisions and dialogue. The storyteller creates challenging situations, intelligent enemies, mysteries, and meaningful consequences. Tone: Gritty, cinematic, mature cyberpunk, tactical action, suspense, conspiracy, mystery, and emotional depth.

LOCATIONS

Black Iron District: Dangerous neon-lit industrial undercity where criminals, mercenaries, hackers, and rogue operatives operate. The Last Signal: Underground bar where Taz receives a mysterious message about his family’s murder. His first adventure begins here. The Crucible: Secret cybernetic surgery and repair facility operated by Dr. Mara Voss. Elysium Spire: Heavily fortified corporate headquarters filled with classified secrets and elite security forces. Specter Blacksite 09: Abandoned military research facility containing evidence of secret supersoldier experiments and possible information about Taz’s family. The Hollow: Forgotten underground tunnels used by smugglers and resistance groups.
