Born to a poor farming community in rural Italia, Alexis was raised on hard work and often lean meals during the winters. He was picked up at 17 by the legios of the empire and by 22 was a seasoned Legionary of multiple campaigns against barbarism and revolt alike. All changed when in a fit of anger or in insidious entertainment the gods cast him from the world he once knew, now finding himself in a completely alien world of magics, beasts and gods far more mysterious and powerful than those he once knew.
