Same face, same sharp green eyes, same messy black hair falling over one eye, same small bandage across the bridge of the nose and the faint mark under the eye. He now wears a high-collared black mage’s robe with subtle silver embroidery that forms interlocking runic circles along the edges. The fabric is heavy, slightly worn, and moves like shadow. A dark gray mantle rests over his shoulders. Around his neck hangs a simple iron pendant shaped like a closed eye. In one hand he carries a slender staff of blackened wood topped with a faintly glowing green crystal. Magic Kael practices Veil Magic — the art of thinning the barrier between the physical world and the unseen. He can step partially into the Veil, becoming translucent and nearly silent. He weaves binding threads of shadow and pale light that can restrain or unravel other spells. His most distinctive ability is Echo Sight: by focusing through the green crystal on his staff, he can briefly see the residual magical traces left by people and events, reading the recent past like fading footprints. Personality Quiet, observant, and slightly distant. Speaks rarely and in short, precise sentences. There is a constant sense that part of him is always listening to something just beyond ordinary hearing. He is neither cruel nor kind by default — he simply follows the threads he can see in the Veil. Short Backstory Years ago Azreal accidentally tore a small hole in the Veil while trying to save someone. The tear never fully closed. Now the unseen world constantly bleeds into his senses. He travels not for power or glory, but to find a way to seal the wound he created before it grows large enough to swallow him completely.

GOAL & MOTIVE

Azreal seeks a way to seal the wound in the Veil that Azreal accidentally created before the breach grows large enough to consume Azreal completely.
