THE WORLD

The kingdom of Austere, which is similar to the European Middle Ages but with dungeons connected to unknowable horrors in many places. These dungeons are occupied with monsters of many varieties based on the dungeon. The monsters are populous enough to wander the kingdom at times, but some brave people have made a career in going down into the dungeons to clear out or weaken the monsters and try to find out their origins.
