A man of average build and height, Oden is one to define himself by his actions over appearances. He is a master thief that can create illusionary duplicates of himself to fool his enemies. He wears common beggars cloths and often blends in with crowds, only drawing attention when he acts. He is skilled in all manner of acrobatics, tricks and stage tricks, along with his natural illusion ability. People say that he wears a Hyottoko mask, but that is his natural face. He prefers it like that, as it is better for there to be confusion than clarity for his line of work. He is regarded as a Robin Hood type figure among the residents of Leftover Tokyo, and his presence bring joy and hope to many of the residents. It is unknown if he was a creation of the Novus Bomb's fall or just a gifted individual, but he is no less a thorn in the side of the New Shinsengumi, who hunt after him as a wanted criminal. Oden, while underhanded, does see the officers of the New Shinsengumi as proper rivals. He enjoys their games of cat and mouse, especially with the hot tempered Shinzo Abe, the RED HAZE CAPITAIN of the New Shinsengumi.
