Naia is a priestess who hails from the desert land of Udria. She is an apprentice priestess to the high priestess of the Temple of El'cor in the Great Holy City of Jharkova'cor. Naia might appear meek, but she is intelligent and quick-witted and has a way with people. She is of the Neutral Good alignment. She is mainly a healer, being skilled with holy life magic as a priestess. She loves to stargaze at night, charting the stars and learning all she can about the stars and the planets, but she keeps this secret since the Temple of El'cor considers learning about the heavens a heretical practice. Udria is an ancient desert civilization that is currently the bronze age. It is very similar in aesthetic to ancient Sumer. The civilization is matriarchal in structure. City-states will often war with each other over the constellations they believe they are entitled to. Constellations are considered to be the promised afterlife for ancestors. Naia disagrees with a lot of the warlike practices of the Udrian culture and secretly wishes to see change. Udrian religion is as follows: El'cor is a timeless, genderless creator deity. The seven classical planets are called the Ul'Lut. They are all evil except for the Sun. Mercury is named Mirul, representing the Sin of Indecision. Venus is named Kianta, representing the Sin of Wrath. Mars is named Arbak, representing the Sin of Madness. Jupiter is named Alaba, representing the Sin of Rapaciousness. Saturn is named Kjol, representing the Sin of Manipulation, and is the oldest and most feared of the Ul'Lut. The Moon is pushed by the soulless husk of the Ul'Lut named Volokir, who represents the Sin of Betrayal. The Sun is the youngest of the Ul'Lut, named Seamrr, and represents the Virtue of Hope.
