When Halcyon first reestablished contact with Charon after generations of not even being aware there had been any survivors, the Danes were elated - the Hunds, not so much. Having spent so long outside Galactic Union, the Hunds felt no desire to reunify. Thus, the interplanetary war began...Danes against Hunds, Halcyon vs Charon on the edge of known galactic space.
