Created by an All Maker, he is a construct in the flesh of a dark elf with two souls. His own soul, and the soul child of his maker, a serpent spirit that gives him access to powerful magic. He is no wizard or sorcerer, but an Esper, capable of wielding magic to do whatever he can imagine. He can warp space, conjure elements, attack with his mind, but creating life and healing are difficult tasks. Illusions are difficult, but transmuting is easy. He is also a crafter, loving to create new objects forged of raw materials claimed from battled imbued of his own power. He is physically immortal, but can be killed. It is the magic in him that sustains his life, making him a sort of magi-lich.

GOAL & MOTIVE

Desparrow Ryder seeks to master reality-warping magic, craft powerful objects from gathered materials, and understand the relationship between the two souls sustaining existence. Desparrow Ryder may also seek to fulfill or surpass the All Maker’s purpose.

THE WORLD

He is created by Serpentia, an All Maker. All Makers were in the beginning, and traveled the cosmos using their energy to create planets, stars, gods, anything they desire. Many consumed themselves creating, as is their purpose. Serpentia did not want to, and so created the Serpent Ryders, beings of her power that go out, conquer and grow, and return to be consumed, restoring her with interest. Desparrow is one of the, given the power of Destruction, and refuses to return, but still conquers in her name.
