The Great Culling: described to many was the Kingdom of Ikrear's attempt of purging the nonhuman races from their lands was the moment Sterkenburg questioned the will of his king. the means of such an act tipped the point of any return made him make a hard look upon himself and the choices he had made in life. This massacre in its first hours showed the person Sterkenburg wanted to be, not the monster the kingdom was turning knights of honor. so he deserted the army.
