Tiefling warlock hexblade. Younger female. D&D rules. A carefree and whimsical nature is not an ideal thing to have when one loves studying the occult and the esoteric. Zevrial is a young tiefling woman with a bright and inquisitive mind. Personable and outgoing she rarely meets someone who its charmed by her. Skin the color of lavender, long black braided hair, curved horns, slender tail, incandescent blue eyes and wide genuine smile. She was a rare beauty. While her family were landed aristocrats they were a minor family with little means and unfortunately that lack of means and their rural estates kept her from obtaining any indepth, formal training in magic so instead she devoured ever bit magical tome, scroll, treatise or pamphlet that happened her way nevermind their authenticity or reliability. But one day while on the edges the family estates she was set upon by unknown ruffians. Hiding in a nearby ruin, hers pleas to the gods for aid going unanswered. But something old and forgotten in that ruin did answer. And blade materialized before her. Long slender and curved. Seemingly made from the night sky. Power rushed through her when she gripped the hilt. Now she has to find out what that power is and what it what's. Without dieing in the process.

GOAL & MOTIVE

Survival. For her and her family. An increase in banditry and stronger more powerful threaten her home. Power. This new power she's attained is intoxicating and more wonderful than anything she's ever experienced. But is the cost and when will it come do.

Unknown ruffians who attacked Zevrial at the family estate and their possible master.

THE WORLD

The kingdom of Marro is a rich and prosperous kingdom. But weak kings often plague it and the nobility are the true rulers of the kingdom. The many Lords and Ladies often feud and fight amongst themselves for power, wealth and status. And even the imagined slight could have deadly consequences. And tucked away in a far corner is the minor barony of Westfold. Slightly arid and very sunny its known mostly for its grapes and wines. A holding not worth much to the larger nobility but it is home to Zevrial's family and has been for generations.

LOCATIONS

The Westfold lays on the south facing flank of massive mountain range that runs east to west. While beautiful, the countryside is slightly arid and crisscossed by rocky protrusions. The old volcanic soil is ideal grapes and olives. Most citizens are involved in the agricultural business or vineyards or goats. The river Vilge flows southern portion of the Westfold into the Balic sea eventually the world beyond, providing some trade.

CHARACTERS

Westfold is populated by tieflings. Only tieflings.

HISTORY & EVENTS

Long ago, long before the Algeres came to the Westfold, before even the kingdom of Marro existed a unknown people inhabited this land that would one day be the Westfold. The only sign they existed was the ruins of the old Hill Fort. It was there that they worshipped Lady Astra, Queen of the Firmament. But they were lost to time and so was Astra, until a young tiefling woman scrambled through the seeking sanctuary from chasing bandits.
