Eldermoor itself is a fractured patchwork of territories, with each noble house vying for influence amidst a landscape of crumbling castles, abandoned ruins, and enchanted ruins that hint at a once-greater civilization. The capital city, Blackspire Hold, is a towering fortress of dark stone, its spires piercing the perpetual gloom that hangs over the realm. Narrow, winding streets lead to markets filled with strange artifacts, arcane talismans, and forbidden relics. The land is steeped in a mixture of ancient magic and modern treachery. Magic users and secret cults operate in the shadows, while the common folk live in fear of bandits, corrupt officials, and the unseen dangers lurking in the dark. The sky above Eldermoor is often clouded with storm clouds, casting a gloomy pall over the realm and symbolizing the unrest within. Though Eldermoor is not ruled by a king, the power is concentrated among the noble houses, with the Baron of Ravensreach—our protagonist—holding sway over his own domain. His territory is a place of dark elegance, where gilded halls clash with ominous shadows, embodying the delicate balance of power, corruption, and ambition that defines this haunted realm.
