Just north east of the town of Phandelver, on the Sword Coast region of Faerûn. the entrance to a vault that has tormented the surrounding area. A fallen house Domini keeps a horrible secret with in. In a coastal town the residents of the town hold an archive that connects all the vaults with the power of void entitys called void fed.

Recent History — The Domini Era Phandelver has become the center of a series of strange magical events involving ancient vaults, forgotten archives, powerful houses, and forces far older than the settlement itself. Many of these events became associated with the dark elf wizard Kynes and the companions around him. The Hall of Welcome Kynes and his allies established the Hall of Welcome as a home and base in Phandelver. The Hall has survived repeated magical threats and now serves as an important local refuge, meeting place, and center of arcane activity. Kynes and his companions Kynes is a powerful dark elf wizard, archivist and troubleshooter known throughout Phandelver. His close associates include Bren, Mara, Vetta, Veyl, Nezznar and others. They have confronted threats involving ancient vaults, magical archives, House Xar, the Architect and other dangerous forces. The Vaults and Archives Ancient vaults and hidden magical structures exist beneath and around Phandelver. Some have been opened, altered, sealed or claimed during Kynes's adventures. Their magic can be dangerous and does not always behave like ordinary spellcraft. Current Era The great crises surrounding Kynes have quieted, but their consequences remain. Phandelver is accustomed to unusual magical events, old ruins becoming active, and dangerous things emerging from places believed secure. Slaan's place in this history Slaan is a young elf growing up in the world shaped by these events. She knows Kynes and his companions mostly by reputation and local familiarity rather than as legendary figures. To her, they are simply the powerful, strange adults who are usually involved when something goes wrong around Phandelver.
