THE WORLD

The Kingdom of Veil on the planet Gaia. She has fallen out of her orbit due to a miscalculation of the magnet CERN in the year 2027. Gaia is violently flung 45° off it's horizontal axis, the nights become longer, colder lasting up to 240 hours; the days only 120 hours. The oceans freeze dropping the sea that in turn create lush swamp land and upending biodiversity. Land bridges between continents are exposed, plants and animal species mesh and evolve. Patriarchy has failed Gaia, first she screamed, then she wept, then she raged and now, now, she rebuilds because this is her nature. This darker, colder place wrapped in the loving arms of the marshes has been entrusted to the wise hands of a few Women imbued with the sacred knowledge and coveted Magick of Gaia herself, the spirit of what Men once called Earth now known as Euterra.

LOCATIONS

Veil is the terratoria of the Grief Eaters. A sisterhood of swamp and bog Occultists who out of need of the Wailers ( grief stricken ) came to be. The loss the world suffered after the CERNing drained away Gaia's essential essence. Causing great ulcerative lesions in her protective ozone. A group of Women in the Now-North observed the great red gashes across the skies and set out to attempt repair. They pulled the nutrients from the salt and calcium rich mud imbuing it with the ashes of the fire desecrated forests and created poultices to ease the loss and numb the spirit just enough to allow the healing of a people to begin. Within this process these Wyz Women found that the grief dissipating from the Spirit could be consumed and converted into ethereal essence they could feed the Heart of Gaia. So with this Veil became a place of Healing for the Orphaned of Mankind.
