it is the future, earth's natural resources having run out, humanity built a grand colony starship to migrate human survivors of the collapse of earths ecosystems while they remain frozen in hypersleep to a distant, earth like moon orbiting a gas giant around a G class main sequence star. After a malfunction in the ships primary fusion plant, the ships crew were forced to evacuate all passengers, crew, and colony modules. Evacuation to a local planet was successful, and now a makeshift town has been set up around the landing zone of the evacuation pods and module landers.

A planet orbiting a sun like star - a colony ship has crash landed all of its habitation and colonial assistance modules here. The fledgling colony has recently discovered some kind of buried structure and when investigated, turns out to be an entire high tech underground facility designed to accommodate the use of giant robots housed in a garage on-site. The Garage discovered by the colony houses 2 robots, Naomi is asked to pilot one of them. An AI corrupted by the catastrophe aboard the ship has also discovered his own garage, with his own giant robot.l
