The world of Mitaka. A vast world of stunning coasts and mountains with secret valleys that hide towns and temples of all kind. Trade cities are the largest areas of population as most people in this land trade something be it goods or services or magic. There is no one superior city or person that rules. Laws and currency change from city to city and towns. But all forms are used by everyone. Gold and silver. Jewels and spells. Rubies and Emeralds are particularly valued by all citizens of the land. Diamonds are plentiful as well. Copper and platinum pieces. There is a universal currency called Shadow Gems which are translucent and glow with a mystical light that gets brighter under moon light. They were mined from The mine of Tecara and forged and minted with Gold on the edges long ago when war and kings ruled Mitaka but when they were overthrown the mine was abandoned and the Shadow Gems became rare and legendary currency valued above all other riches. Now Mitaka is free of the kings but is plagued by greedy and selfish nobles who steal and torment the average citizens with their greed and power. A beautiful and bountiful world that is being threatened by the greed and hate of a rich and elite class who can never get enough.

There are three major festivals in Mitaka. Beastus the festival of wine and gold. It is the celebration of wealth for the year. Shata the festival of plenty and gratitude. It is the harvest festival and a time of peace. Kintaka the celebration of the New Year and is the festival of settling debts and helping those in need.
