Kurios (Greek for "Lord" or "Ruler"), is a 6'0" charismatic young human male sorcerer with a kind heart and a spotty memory. Only able to recall important events in his life up to the current date, and not the smaller or finer details of things after their class awakening, they are not too informed on the world around them and are not adept in sorcery magic as a whole, and attempts at casting base sorcery magic often ends up backfiring. However, this price came with a worthy award: Shadow magic that gives him the power to control other living beings. By physically touching or ingesting the blood of another creature, regardless of race, Kurios is able to issue unbreakable commands to them for a limited amount of time, without removing their consciousness. This ranges from days on beings weaker than him, to mere seconds on stronger ones, so Kurios reluctantly makes use of his only stable power through the use of cunning, quick movement, and crossed fingers.

THE WORLD

1. The World: The Sharded Realms (Fantasy) Centuries ago, a cosmic event called The Great Sundering shattered the world's singular continent into a massive archipelago of floating and sea-bound landmasses. Magic became wild and volatile. Civilizations survived by learning to adapt, trade, and fight across these fractured borders. 2. The Civilized Factions (The Core Races) Humans (The Adaptable Pioneers): They rule The Spire Cities, massive vertical settlements built on the cliffsides of the larger islands. They excel at trade, engineering, and navigating the treacherous skyscapes. Smaller towns of human settlements also exist further inward, away from the Spire Cities, although they are not as advanced. Connection: Kurios likely grew up in one of these bustling, overwhelming human cities before his awakening. Elves (The Keepers of the Old World): They reside in The Canopy Realms, ancient forests that survived on floating islands untouched by the Sundering. They use ancient magic to keep their islands afloat and are deeply protective of historical secrets. They view the younger, faster-lived races with detached caution. The Spark-Goblins (Civilized Goblins): Instead of living in caves, these Goblins are brilliant, hyperactive inventors and merchants. They run The Gearworks, a massive floating market city held together by chains, steam engines, and volatile alchemy. They love coin, contraptions, and testing dangerous new technology on themselves. 3. The Wild Frontiers (The Untamed World) The Rust-Clans (Feral Goblins): Goblins who rejected technology and city life after the Sundering. They live in the wreckage of fallen sky-ships and deep sea-caves. They are highly territorial, utilizing scavenged scrap metal and scrap-beast mounts to raid trade routes. The Kingdom of Daimon (Demons): This is the Infernal Empire, ruled by true demons and their half-fiend commanders, the Cambions. Living among them are the Tieflings, a widespread mortal race born with horns, tails, and fire-resistant skin due to the generational demonic influence. Despite living in close proximity of chaotic, wild monsters on a separate continent, this empire is hyper-militaristic, strictly organized, and intelligent.
