THE WORLD
There is little as intoxicating as the adoration of the crowd. Many Bards are renowned for being egotistical lechs that live and die by their fame. For many, the Bard’s life becomes a virtuous cycle: the audience gets a show, and the Bard gets to revel in their appreciation. However, those that devote themselves to the College of Spectacles understand that the world lacks not for those that can blow into a flute or pluck a lyre. Thus, they determine the surest way to draw attention: present an awe-inspiring display with thrills, struggle, and skill. This can take many forms, but always, the goal is to attract as large an audience as possible to witness the act. This feeds the cycle, as the Bard turns attention into arcane energy by which they can further empower their own capabilities.
CHARACTERS
HISTORY & EVENTS
The PC has devoted her life to the Spectacle life, fully embracing the display that comes with it. They graduated at the top of her class earning the Exhibitionist title as the only one in the entire college that studied and demonstrated an outstanding performance and display. Her Rapier was a gift for her dedication to the arts and a symbol of her title. She picked the name Zara's Reverence for her rapier as tribute to all that taught her. She plays into the knowledge that her title can mean something inappropriate but still finds it funny. She uses the title more as a announcement of her exhibition of acrobatics and magical display.
