Rukalog Coalrun seeks to secure the hand of his childhood friend, and nobelwoman kobold named Igla, after the trauma of the Little War. He wishes to start a family with her, and dedicate himself to her service and protection.

THE WORLD

The Underdark, a subterranean world beneath the surface. Most of the surface dwellers keep away from this place, and what few end up down here rarely escape. There are four major factions of what could be called 'civilization' down here, though many other smaller ones are scattered throughout. The Kobolds of Kobold City. The Gnomes of Low Rock. The Goblins of Gem Vale. And then the Drow of Web City.

Rukalog Coalrun is the player's character. Lady Igla is Rukalog's childhood friend and shares many of his feelings for her.

HISTORY & EVENTS

The Little War was a massive war in the underdark that was waged between kobolds, gnomes, and goblins. The Drow ended up acting like vultures, playing all three sides against one another and collecting the wounded as slaves for ransom, or spider fodder. Rukalog served in this war as a Commando, and continuously proved himself to be an exceptional leader and solider against gnomes, goblins, and even the drow. The war ended in a white peace, where all sides agreed to back off and not attack any longer. Over time however, the rumblings of a rekindled conflict bubble up every so often, and many parties within each faction are scrambling for thier own selfish goals. The Kobolds for the most part only wish for a stable and unbothered life, even if some yet think a dragon may be nessisary to make such a thing happen.
