Tavern Tales: Share Your Adventures, and Get Paid for the Quests You Completed

The Tavern now has a Tales shelf. Share any adventure with one click and other players can read it as it grows, scene by scene. And when you share, the Tavern Keeper rewards you with Pages for every quest and chapter you completed along the way.

Your adventures are stories worth reading. The scene where your bard talked a dragon out of its hoard, the chapter that ended with the city on fire - until now, only you ever saw them. Tavern Tales changes that. The Tavern, home of player-made heroes, now has a second shelf: the stories those heroes are living.

A new Tales tab in the Tavern

Next to the hero roster you'll find Tavern Tales: adventures that players have chosen to share, organized by genre and sorted by what's recently updated. Every tale is read exactly as it was played - the full narration, the scene art, scene by scene.

And here's the part we love most: tales are alive. A shared tale keeps growing as its player keeps playing. Find one marked "Scene 35 · 2d ago" and you're not opening an archive, you're catching up on a story that's still being written. Favorite the ones you want to follow and come back for the next scene.

Sharing takes one click - and you stay in control

Every adventure's game page now has a Share this tale with the Tavern button, right above your Adventure Journal. Click it, give your tale a title (or let us suggest one), and it's on the shelf. You're credited under your Tavern persona - your hero's name, not your real one.

Changed your mind? You can unshare anytime. The tale comes off the shelf and its link stops working, no questions asked.

The Tavern Keeper pays for a well-told tale

Here's the new tradition: when you share a tale, the Tavern Keeper rewards you for the story you've already lived. Every 5 completed quests earns half a Page, and every concluded chapter earns 3 Pages - counted the moment you share, and topped up as your tale grows. Complete more quests, conclude another chapter, save your tale again, and the Keeper pays the difference.

Quests and chapters are the measure on purpose. They can't be rushed or faked - a completed quest means you played through it, and a concluded chapter means you carried a story all the way to an ending. The Keeper pays for the journey, not the length.

Your heroes and your tales, on the same shelf

If you've listed a hero in the Tavern, your shared tales appear on that hero's page too - and when another player recruits your hero and shares their own adventure, it shows up there as well. Your OC's page becomes exactly what it should be: proof of the stories they can carry.

So pick your best adventure - the one you'd tell a friend about - open its game page, and put it on the shelf. The common room has been waiting for some good stories.
