LiveTale User-Created Content Guidelines
Last updated: August 1, 2025
This applies to all users and creators on the LiveTale platform.
LiveTale enables players to create and share Tales, characters, and storytelling assets that fuel collaborative adventures. To ensure a safe, high-quality experience for all users, we’ve outlined the following rules for user-generated content (UGC).
Note: LiveTale is an 18+ platform. All users and content creators must be at least 18 years old.
What You Can Create and Share
You may create and use original content to enhance your storytelling, including:
- Custom Tales (including worlds, event card decks, and character roles)
- Dialogue prompts, relationships, and scripted logic
- Costumes and decorative assets (with valid rights)
This content is shared only with players in your active session by default.
How Public Sharing Works
If you want to publish your content for wider use across the platform:
- You must submit your content for review by the LiveTale team
- Upon approval, it may be made available in the community library or featured Tales section
- Until approved, content remains private to your party and is not accessible outside your live session
What You Cannot Submit
The following content is not allowed under any circumstances:
- Copyrighted or trademarked material you do not own or have explicit permission to use
- AI-generated content of any kind (text, art, audio, etc.)
- Sexually exploitative content or pornographic material
- Content promoting hate, harassment, discrimination, or real-world violence
- Misleading, malicious, or deceptive assets
- Exploits, spam, or unsafe scripting logic
Review & Moderation Process
- All published content must go through a manual review by LiveTale staff moderators
- Content will be reviewed for safety, legality, and adherence to this guideline
- You may be asked to verify ownership or provide context for review
- Content not meeting these standards will not be published, but may still be used privately in your session
Ownership & Rights
- You retain full ownership of the content you create
- By submitting content for publishing, you grant Unplay Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content on the LiveTale platform
- You are responsible for ensuring that all submitted content is original or properly licensed
- You may request your content be removed from the public listing at any time
Content Removal & Dispute Process
- We may remove or restrict content that violates these guidelines at any time.
- If your content is rejected or taken down, you will receive a reason and, when appropriate, a chance to revise and resubmit.
- You may request a review of any takedown decision by contacting [email protected]
Policy Updates
These guidelines may be updated as LiveTale evolves. We will notify creators of any significant changes through official channels. For questions, support, or clarification on publishing your content, please reach out to [email protected].
